Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Structural Design Expertise: Utilize your 7-10 years of experience to lead the structural design efforts for Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and various Industrial Structures.
  • Hands-On Analyses: Conduct hands-on analyses using advanced tools such as Risa3D, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD, MathCAD, TEDDS, EnerCalc to ensure the structural integrity and performance of diverse projects.
  • Project Leadership: Take a leadership role in guiding and overseeing the structural design process from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and project managers, to deliver comprehensive structural solutions.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous quality assurance measures, conducting thorough reviews of structural designs and calculations.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure that all designs adhere to relevant building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Technical Documentation: Generate detailed technical documentation, including design reports, calculations, and construction drawings.

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7-10 years of hands-on experience as a Structural Engineer, with a focus on Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and Industrial Structures.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, including Risa3D, ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, STAAD, MathCAD, TEDDS, EnerCalc, and Revit.
  • Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience in the design and analysis of industrial structures such as Manufacturing Plants, Petrochemical Facilities, and Power Plants.
  • Solid grasp of construction materials, codes, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Structural Engineer (S.E.) certification is highly desirable
