Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage construction projects for commercial, residential, healthcare, multifamily, and educational facilities.
- Collaborate with architects and designers to review and refine project plans, emphasizing the use of Revit for design and coordination.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure that all aspects of the mechanical systems are integrated effectively into the overall project plan.
- Conduct site inspections and project meetings to ensure adherence to timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage and resolve any technical difficulties or discrepancies that may arise during the construction process.
- Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders and upper management.
- Assist in budget estimation and cost control measures.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal construction regulations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications in engineering or project management are advantageous.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in Revit and a solid understanding of mechanical systems in construction.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in construction engineering, specifically in commercial, residential, or similar projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
