Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of robotic systems for manufacturing parts and components for medical devices, healthcare, and pharmaceutical applications.
- Utilize Autodesk or SolidWorks and Fusion 360 for creating detailed mechanical designs and simulations.
- Develop and test AI algorithms using TensorFlow and PyTorch to enhance robotic functionalities.
- Implement and optimize 3D vision software for precise robotic operations.
- Conduct simulations using NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Gazebo to validate robotic system performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate robotic systems into existing manufacturing processes.
- Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of robotic systems.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in robotics and manufacturing technologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in robotics and manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Autodesk or SolidWorks and Fusion 360.
- Experience with NVIDIA Isaac Sim or Gazebo for robotic simulations.
- Knowledge of 3D vision software for robotic applications.
- Expertise in machine learning and AI tools such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the medical device, healthcare, or pharmaceutical industries.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance in these industries.
