We are currently seeking a Piping Engineer for our client, a company that specializes in delivering top-tier engineering solutions for the oil and gas,  industrial, and petrochemical projects. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, layout, and installation of piping systems for various industries, including oil and gas, industrial, and government/municipal projects.
  • Utilize software tools such as CAESAR II, Pipe-Flo, PDMS, or SmartPlant 3D for piping design and analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process engineers, mechanical engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of piping systems.
  • Conduct stress analysis and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Prepare technical documentation, including piping specifications, material selection, and installation guidelines.
  • Oversee the fabrication and installation of piping systems, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in piping engineering for oil and gas, industrial, and petrochemical projects.
  • Proficiency in using CAESAR II, Pipe-Flo, and experience with PDMS or SmartPlant 3D.
  • Strong knowledge of piping design principles, material selection, and fabrication processes.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to piping systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience in sustainable design and energy-efficient piping solutions.
  • Familiarity with advanced piping materials and technologies.
  • Proven track record of successful project management and leadership in piping engineering.
