Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage research and development projects focused on autonomous flight systems.
- Design, develop, and test advanced flight control systems, navigation systems, and autonomous subsystems.
- Implement and optimize artificial intelligence algorithms for decision-making and collision avoidance.
- Develop AI models for predictive maintenance and system health monitoring.
- Utilize machine learning techniques to improve flight path optimization and fuel efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies into existing systems.
- Conduct simulations and real-world testing to validate system performance and reliability.
- Analyze data and generate reports to support continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in aerospace and automotive technologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in research and development within the aerospace or automotive industry.
- Proven expertise in artificial intelligence, advanced flight control systems, navigation systems, and autonomous subsystems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB.
- Experience with simulation tools and software.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
