Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of electronic circuits, systems, and hardware components for wearable medical devices and telemedicine solutions.
  • Utilize simulation software such as Altium Designer, LTSpice, MATLAB, LabVIEW, and COMSOL Multiphysics to analyze and optimize electrical circuits and systems for performance, safety, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronic hardware with software and mechanical components.
  • Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the transition from prototype to production, ensuring manufacturability and scalability of designs.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and regulatory submissions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in wearable medical devices and telemedicine to drive innovation within the company.


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Research and Development within the medical or healthcare industry.
  • Proven track record in designing and developing electronic circuits and systems for medical devices.
  • Strong proficiency in simulation software such as Altium Designer, LTSpice, MATLAB, LabVIEW, IAR Embedded Workbench, and COMSOL Multiphysics.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements, including ISO 13485, IEC 60601, and FDA regulations for medical devices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from concept to production with a focus on innovation and quality.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
