We are a staffing agency specialized in recruiting IT personnel. We are currently recruiting a Senior Systems Architect for an American cloud-based software company delivering scalable enterprise solutions tailored for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). Their integrated platform supports core business operations including accounting, financial reporting, CRM, human capital management, e-commerce, project management, inventory, and procurement—all from a single, unified cloud environment. Known for rapid product iteration, enterprise-grade security, and intuitive UX, the company enables SMBs to operate with the agility and insight of much larger enterprises. As they continue scaling their platform and expanding their product ecosystem, the Systems Architect plays a key strategic role in driving technical direction, system integration, and performance optimization across cloud-native environments.
Typical Duties and Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Systems Architect to lead the design, integration, and evolution of a secure, high-performance, and scalable SaaS architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, multi-tenant systems, and microservices-based architecture.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the design and refinement of the overall cloud-native enterprise architecture supporting business-critical applications such as ERP, CRM, and financial systems
- Architect scalable, modular, and secure solutions that support multi-tenant SaaS delivery across AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environments
- Collaborate with product managers, engineering leads, and DevOps to define and document technical standards, interface specifications, and integration patterns
- Define and implement standards for APIs, data modeling, and middleware services to ensure interoperability between modules (accounting, HR, e-commerce, etc.)
- Champion containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
- Optimize application performance, data replication, and system reliability using distributed caching, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous messaging queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Evaluate and recommend technologies for observability, scalability, and resiliency across production systems
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS standards through security-first architectural principles
- Oversee platform modernization efforts including monolith-to-microservices migration, CI/CD pipeline integration, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) adoption
- Guide and mentor software and infrastructure teams on system design best practices, tech stack evolution, and performance tuning
