Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of advanced semiconductor chips for IoT, consumer electronics, and medical devices.
- Utilize simulation software such as Proteus and PSIM for circuit design and validation.
- Perform detailed schematic capture and PCB layout using Cadence Allegro.
- Conduct analysis and verification using Keysight ADS (Advanced Design System).
- Develop and implement algorithms using MATLAB and Python for data analysis and system optimization.
- Utilize Texas Instruments WEBENCH for power supply design and optimization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate circuit designs into overall product architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in circuit design and semiconductor technology.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a circuit design engineer.
- Proficiency in simulation software such as Proteus and PSIM.
- Experience with design and layout tools such as Cadence Allegro.
- Expertise in analysis and verification tools like Keysight ADS (Advanced Design System).
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Python for algorithm development and data analysis.
- Exposure to Texas Instruments WEBENCH for power supply design.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
