We are currently recruiting an Antenna Engineer for a leading Military, Aerospace, and Defense company.  Our client specializes in the development of advanced phased array and microstrip antenna technologies. Typical Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and optimization of antenna systems for military, aerospace, and defense applications.
  • Utilize simulation software such as HFSS and FEKO for antenna design and validation.
  • Perform detailed modeling and analysis using EMWorks.
  • Develop and implement algorithms using MATLAB for data analysis and system optimization.
  • Conduct simulations and optimizations using Microwave Wizard.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate antenna designs into overall product architecture.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues to ensure high performance and reliability.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ITAR, DoD regulations, ISO 9001, AS9100, and MIL-SPECs.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in antenna design and related technologies.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
  • Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an antenna engineer.
  • Experience with phased array antenna or microstrip antenna
  • Proficiency in simulation software such as HFSS and FEKO.
  • Experience with design and modeling tools such as EMWorks.
  • Expertise in MATLAB for algorithm development and data analysis.
  • Exposure to Microwave Wizard for simulation and optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the military, aerospace, and defense industries.
  • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance, including ITAR, DoD regulations, ISO 9001, AS9100, and MIL-SPECs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
  • Publications or patents in relevant fields are a plus.
