We are currently recruiting an Antenna Engineer for a leading Military, Aerospace, and Defense company. Typical Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of antenna systems for military, aerospace, and defense applications.
- Utilize simulation software such as HFSS and FEKO for antenna design and validation.
- Perform detailed modeling and analysis using EMWorks.
- Develop and implement algorithms using MATLAB for data analysis and system optimization.
- Conduct simulations and optimizations using Microwave Wizard.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate antenna designs into overall product architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve design issues to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as ITAR, DoD regulations, ISO 9001, AS9100, and MIL-SPECs.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in antenna design and related technologies.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is preferred.
Required Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an antenna engineer.
- Experience with phased array antenna or microstrip antenna
- Proficiency in simulation software such as HFSS and FEKO.
- Experience with design and modeling tools such as EMWorks.
- Expertise in MATLAB for algorithm development and data analysis.
- Exposure to Microwave Wizard for simulation and optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the military, aerospace, and defense industries.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance, including ITAR, DoD regulations, ISO 9001, AS9100, and MIL-SPECs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
- Publications or patents in relevant fields are a plus.
