We are looking for an innovative and dedicated Field Systems Engineer to join our team to do component and system-level design and take on ~10 trips per year for system installations. - BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years recent experience in field service, system integration, and/or automated controls.
- Experience with PCB and system-level analog and digital electronics design
- Experience with Ethernet, CAN, USB, I2C, RS-232/485.
- Experience troubleshooting customer issues remotely and effectively.
- Excellent small team player with good communication skills and a sense of humor.
- Flexibility – willing to contribute at whatever level it takes to get the job done.
- Must able to travel internationally
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the US. Visa sponsorship is not currently available.
Extra Credit
- Familiarity with test standards: ASTM, ISO, and UL.
- Understanding of CE and UL design codes and certification
- Electrical and thermal simulation, PSpice, Matlab.
- User interface programming using .NET framework
- IT/Networking expertise
- Knowledge of contemporary embedded hardware, firmware and programming languages. We use C Code with Microchip PIC and ARM Cortex M3 platforms.
- Fluency in Altium Designer or other schematic capture/layout software
