Centrally located in Point Loma and fostering a flexible, small team environment that provides a very clear path for growth and development. That's actually one thing I like most about this team; their senior leadership does a very good job of preventing folks from becoming stagnant in their positions/careers. As a result, they have very low turnover, and very seldom do I have to backfill a position here.

Thoughts on the duration of this position: Current labor market conditions often dictate that
companies hold onto talented employees after investing months to get them ramped up and up to speed
with the framework of their department. Many small to mid-sized firms have realized how costly and inefficient it is to let go of a contract employee who has met or exceeded expectations and did quality work for the duration of the assignment only to use a staffing firm to backfill the position months later. If you go out there and showcase that you can consistently and reliably produce quality design work, this client has a track record of holding onto contract designers and engineers for longer than the initial contract period or hiring contractors directly.
