 This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated person with a “can do” attitude. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the MEP industry, with no maximum. Pay is very competitive and will depend on experience. Bonuses are typically strong, and are based on performance and additional time worked. Revit experience is a strong plus.

Job Responsibilities: As an Electrical Engineer/Designer, you will be responsible for creating basic designs under the direction of the Senior Engineer and/or Senior Designer for building types such as federal, healthcare, commercial, school, industrial and hospitality buildings. You will also develop specifications, system narratives, and system layouts for a variety of projects of different sizes. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Beginning to establish system application, design, and operational parameters / sequences under the direction of the Senior on the project
  • Participating in Ensure / Oversee QA/QC process for your work and the work of others
  • Performing construction administration and field investigation tasks for assigned projects, including conducting field inspections
  • Assisting in processing RFI's, Change Orders, Bulletins, and Addenda during construction administration.

 
Job Requirements: Successful candidates for the Electrical Engineer role should have the ability to use REVIT for system layout and spatial coordination of production of detailed drawings. Additional minimum requirements include:

  • Knowledge of REVIT
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems
  • Basic understanding of applicable codes
  • Experience with basic electrical calculations and principles
