Our client is an established and rapidly growing DFW area firm offering civil engineering, hydrology, land surveying, landscape architecture, land planning, and MEP design services. The company has a WORK FROM HOME policy, however, there are eligibility requirements that must be met first. For a Sr MEP Designer / CAD Technician, they must be employed for at least 6 months. The Junior MEP Designer / CAD Technician must be employed for at least 12 months. Once an employee meets the eligibility criteria, and it is approved for them to work from home, management will then decide how many days each week work can be done from home.

SR. APPLICANTS must have at least 10 years of relevant design experience and 5 or more years with Revit.

JR. APPLICANTS must have at least 5 years of relevant design experience. Revit experience is a plus, but not required.

AutoCAD proficiency is required.

Applicant must be self-motivated and highly dedicated to meeting deadlines and producing quality work.

A friendly can-do attitude is a requirement of the job.

As a basic skill set, applicants must have engineering design experience/proficiency in site development projects including design of paving, grading, drainage, water, sanitary sewer, and erosion control.

Ideal applicants will have experience with multiple project types which may include some or all of the following: office, retail, restaurants, general commercial, multi-family residential, nursing/assisted living, medical and dental facilities, schools, churches, automotive dealerships and service facilities, mini storage developments, etc. Experience with single family residential projects is preferred.

Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing building systems design (all three) is preferred.

Applicants MUST be able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Compensation will be negotiated based on the applicant’s experience and qualifications.
