Established precision aerospace manufacturer supporting defense, medical, and high-spec industrial customers. The organization machines complex, tight-tolerance components and assemblies and is currently investing in improved front-end quoting and customer portal management processes.
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized RFQ Administrator / Quoting Coordinator to manage incoming customer requests for quotation (RFQs), customer portal submissions, and internal quote workflow coordination.
This position is administrative in nature but requires familiarity with manufacturing documentation, aerospace compliance requirements, and estimating workflow systems.
This role supports leadership and technical estimators by ensuring RFQs are properly logged, tracked, and submitted accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and log incoming RFQs from customer portals and email
- Manage customer portals for major aerospace primes and Tier 1 suppliers
- Upload required documentation (certifications, ITAR statements, compliance forms)
- Coordinate with estimating and engineering teams for quote input
- Enter quote data into RFQ/estimating software platforms (e.g., Paperless Parts or similar systems)
- Track revisions, due dates, and quote status
- Maintain organized digital documentation and revision control
- Generate formal quote packages for customer submission
- Assist in tracking quote win/loss metrics
- Support leadership with reporting and RFQ backlog visibility
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial administrative support
- Experience managing customer portals (aerospace prime portals preferred)
- Familiarity with RFQ workflow and quoting processes
- Experience using ERP, estimating, or RFQ management software preferred
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management
- Basic understanding of manufacturing drawings and documentation preferred
- U.S. Person (ITAR compliance required)
