We are seeking an experienced Manual Machinist to join our team at our Ontario, CA facility. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a variety of conventional machining equipment, including manual lathes, mills, and grinders. You will translate engineering specifications into precision-machined components, ensuring quality, accuracy, and consistency in every part produced.
Key Must Haves:

  • Set up and operate conventional machines (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.)
  • Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
  • Determine optimal machining processes to achieve required tolerances
  • Machine complex parts with minimal supervision
  • Troubleshoot machining issues and make process adjustments as needed
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure compliance with quality standards
  • Proven experience operating conventional lathes and milling machines
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and materials
  • Demonstrated ability to machine parts to tight tolerances
  • Minimum 5 years of manual machining experience preferred

A Level III Machinist is expected to operate independently, demonstrate a deep understanding of processes, and consistently produce high-quality components with limited oversight.
Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00/hour (based on demonstrated skills and experience)
