Manual Machinist

Company/Position Summary:

Our client is a small, family-owned precision manufacturing firm specializing in fluid process components looking to skilled Manual/CNC Machinist to join our team. This role combines hands-on work with manual mills, lathes, and presses along with the ability to set up and run CNC mills and lathes. You’ll work on custom parts, tooling, and fixtures while ensuring high-quality production in compliance with ISO 9001:2015.

Responsibilities:

• Setup and operate CNC and manual mills/lathes
• Review and edit G-code programs for accuracy
• Machine and repair tooling, fixtures, and custom parts
• Perform grinding, deburring, and finishing work
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Maintain a clean and safe shop under 5S standards

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in CNC and manual machining
• Skilled in setup, operation, and basic G-code edits
• Strong knowledge of feeds, speeds, and workholding
• Able to read blueprints and use precision inspection tools
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-oriented
