Overview:
 
We are seeking an experienced Press Brake Operator to join our precision sheet metal fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reading blueprints, setting up and operating press brake machines, and inspecting finished parts to ensure they meet tight tolerances. This position plays a key role in producing high-quality, custom metal components for a variety of industries.
 
The typical shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00am-2:30pm, with frequent overtime based on customer demand. customers’ specifications.
 
The wage being considered is $23-28/hour based on your prior experience and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machines to bend, form, and fabricate sheet metal components to specification.
 - Interpret blueprints, work orders, and shop drawings to determine machine settings and part dimensions.
 - Perform machine adjustments and tool changes as needed for production runs.
 - Inspect parts for accuracy using calipers, protractors, and other measuring tools.
 - Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety procedures.
 - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and resolve technical issues.
 - Document work completed and report any discrepancies or quality concerns.
 
Qualifications:
- Personal tools required = caliper and rubber hand-held hammer.
 - 2+ years of experience operating press brake machinery in a precision sheet metal environment.
 - Familiarity with Amada, Trumpf, Cincinnati, or similar CNC press brakes required.
 - Understanding of bend deductions required.
 - Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
 - Proficiency in using measuring tools and performing quality checks.
 - Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
 - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
 
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training a plus.
