Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team on the 1st shift with a competitive pay range of $35 – $37 per hour. The ideal candidate will have experience operating Moore Jig Grinders or similar equipment, and will be adept at working from drawings and sketches using manual machine shop tools. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to produce precise work with tight tolerances.
Job Specific Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Experience working with Moore G-18 Jig Grinders or similar Jig Grinders.
- Mechanically inclined individual with good problem-solving ability.
- Able to produce accurate work with tolerances reaching .0005” of an inch.
- Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.
- Good understanding of feeds and speeds pertaining to various materials.
- Proficient in fixture and part setup.
- Skilled using various gaging equipment (OD/ID micrometers, depth gages, height gages, bore gages etc.).
- A solid background in reading drawings conforming to ASME Y14.5 standards.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of Jig Grinding experience with Moore G-18 or similar Jig Grinders.
- Mechanically inclined individual with good problem-solving ability.
- Able to produce accurate work.
- Mathematical machining skills required.
- Proficient working with Moore G-18 or similar Jig Grinders.
