Jig Grinder

Jig Grinder:

Jig Grinder must be able to operate Moor Jig Grinders, working from drawings and sketches using manual machine shop equipment.

Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:

Experience working with Moore G-18 Jig Grinders or similar Jig Grinders.

Mechanically inclined individual with good problem-solving ability.

Able to produce accurate work (tolerances reach .0005 of an inch).

Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.

Good understanding of feeds and speeds pertaining to various materials.

Proficient in fixture and part setup.

Skilled using various gaging equipment (OD/ID micrometers, depth gages, height gages, bore gages etc.)

A solid background in reading drawings conforming to ASME Y14.5 standards.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years Jig Grinding experience (Moore G-18 or similar Jig Grinders).

Mechanically inclined individual with good problem-solving ability.

Able to produce accurate work.

Mathematical machining skills required.

Proficient working with Moore G-18 or similar Jig Grinders

Pay: $25-$30/HR
