We’re looking for an experienced Commercial HVAC Boiler Technician to join a well-established, high-performing team that services a wide range of commercial facilities. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install, maintain, and repair commercial boiler and HVAC systems, including hydronic and steam systems.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, diagnose system issues, and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
- Conduct preventative maintenance and efficiency checks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of boiler and mechanical room components including burners, controls, pumps, valves, feedwater systems, and piping.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and local mechanical codes.
- Communicate clearly with customers, dispatch, and fellow technicians.
- Maintain service documentation and repair records.
NECESSARY EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of commercial HVAC/boiler experience.
- Deep understanding of commercial hot water and steam systems.
- Strong working knowledge of boiler operation, control systems, combustion tuning, and piping layout.
- EPA Universal Certification (required)
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Familiarity with commercial-grade systems from brands like Cleaver-Brooks, Lochinvar, Raypak, or Fulton.
- Ability to work safely and independently in a variety of commercial environments.
Preferred but Not Required
- Boiler Operator or Installer License (or ability to obtain)
- Experience with building automation systems (Client/EMS)
- OSHA 10/30 certification
- Backflow certification or welding experience a plus
$50-$60/Hour
