Firmware Engineer

( Motion Control Focus )

$110,000 – $145,000 annually + Bonus

Direct Hire – Onsite – M-F

Position Summary:

As a Firmware Engineer with a focus on Motion Control, you will be integral to our Embedded Products Development Team, creating advanced embedded features for servo controls used in motion systems and robotics. This role requires a proactive approach to developing robust firmware solutions that enhance the functionality and interoperability of our servo amplifier platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop real-time embedded firmware in C++ and assembly.
  • Analyze and translate customer requirements into technical specifications.
  • Collaborate with software developers to ensure system compatibility.
  • Conduct thorough testing and documentation of firmware solutions.
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years (with a BS degree) or 3+ years (with an MS degree) in real-time embedded firmware development.
  • Expertise in motor control technologies and electrical power conversion.
  • Familiarity with Texas Instruments and ARM processors is advantageous.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident as required by ITAR.
