BASIC FUNCTION : Assemble electronic and mechanical assemblies using drawings, BOMs, and procedures. Responsible for mounting and soldering components onto thru-hole and surface mount printed circuit boards. Work from drawings and diagrams to assemble and terminate cable and board assemblies. Follow ISO 9001:2015 policies and procedures.

SKILLS :

Able to read and understand drawings and procedures. Able to identify electronic and mechanical components. Knowledge of component identification codes. Ability to use measurement tools, strippers and crimping tools to terminate wire harness assemblies. Proficient in mounting and soldering RoHS 0402 surface mount components using a microscope. Ability to follow technical instructions to assemble and test units. ROHS workmanship skills. Computer literate.


Equipment: Insertion and extraction hand tools — crimpers, cutters, pliers, wire strippers, screw drivers, and wrenches. Use of continuity tester, microscope, heat gun, solder stations, and cleaning solvents per safety code.
