ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans mechanical drawings by reviewing sketches, description, specifications, and supporting documents

developed with the engineers and product designers.

Prepare mechanical sketches and drawings by rendering sectional, auxiliary, and multiviews, sub-assemblies, pictorials, dimensions, and developments; producing two- and three-dimensional orthographic projections using computer aided design (CAD) and pictorial techniques; producing three dimensional (3-D) models including 3-D and spherical coordinates.

Prepare mechanical detail drawings by developing applications and calculations, producing fit specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T); analyzing and developing production drawings to avoid production errors.

Prepares supporting information by developing bills of materials including standard parts, custom parts and fasteners.

Modifies drawings by analyzing, resolving, and incorporating changes.

Build historic record by tracking every change of design drawings following ISO procedures.

Create production drawings to help fastener of production team

Update databases by ISO procedures.

Verifies all needed material for entire design and inputs quantity of material from the approved revision into

Production List.

Create and program CNC computerized drawings to manufacture custom parts.

Provides a technical template including information on measurements, materials, quantity, specifications for

installation propose.

Keeps equipment operational by adjusting hardware configuration by following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures, also call for repairs.

Actively update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and/or reading technical publications.

Accomplishes organizational goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High school diploma or GED.

Experience with AutoCAD software.

Experience with Solidworks software.

Experience in reading/interpreting Architectural and Engineering plans.

Basic knowledge of CNC machines.

1 to 2 years hands-on drafting experience.

Good basic math skills.

Ability to visually interpret other people’s ideas.

Must be a self-starter.

Bilingual in other languages but not required.

Team player preferred.
