Position Summary

CAD Drafter

Engineering Services Engineering Services Manager

Provide drafting support using CAD for all types of engineering drawings including fabrication, assembly and schematics.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Generate manufacturing drawings using AutoCAD, Solidworks, Microsoft Office documents, Adobe PDF, and other software for piece parts and assemblies

• Generate parts BOMs

• Process document changes through the ECN (Engineering Change Notice) process

• Manipulate and process file changes in a PDM environment

• Perform electronic file conversion, handling and distribution

• Other assigned duties

  Required Experience

• 3+ years’ experience providing engineering drafting

• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

• Comprehensive knowledge of bills of materials structure, engineering principles,

  concepts, theories and practices

• Ability to read and understand the organization and structure of technical

  documents, assembly prints, and parts lists

• Good analytical capabilities and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative team environment

• Absolute proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,

  Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat
