Role Overview
We’re seeking an experienced DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer to help build, maintain, and improve our cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You’ll work at the intersection of development and operations, ensuring our platform maintains high availability while implementing systems that allow our engineering teams to deploy code with confidence and speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
- Monitor system performance and implement alerting for critical services
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application issues
- Implement security best practices across our cloud environment
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system reliability and performance
- Participate in on-call rotation to support production systems
- Document operational procedures and contribute to knowledge base
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles
- Strong experience with AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with container orchestration (Kubernetes, ECS)
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CircleCI)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
- Understanding of networking concepts and security practices
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, DataDog)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with database administration (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
- Understanding of GitOps workflows
- Familiarity with chaos engineering practices
- Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, CKA, etc.)
