  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements in manufacturing.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field AND at least 5 years of experience in precision machining environments OR 10 years of experience preparing cost estimates for aerospace components or similar high-precision industries. Journeymen-level machine tool knowledge is required with absence of B.S.
  • At least 5 years of CNC machining experience, including expertise in 3-axis and 4-axis horizontal CNC milling.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and understanding customer/industry specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, materials, and generalized machine shop procedures, including setup and operation of diverse machine tools.
  • Experience using ERP systems for cost estimation and quoting, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
