(Communications Focus)

$110,000 – $145,000 annually + Bonus

Position Summary:

In the role of Firmware Engineer with a Communications focus, you will develop critical firmware that supports real-time communication protocols over 100baseT networks. This position calls for a deep understanding of ISO Data Link layer implementations and low-level device driver design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and optimize firmware for network communication protocols such as EtherCAT, Profinet, UDP, and TCP/IP.
  • Develop and test low-level drivers for microcontrollers in real-time environments.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Qualifications:
  • 4+ years (with a BS degree) or 2+ years (with an MS degree) in embedded firmware development.
  • Strong background in network communication protocols and microcontroller systems.
  • Ability to develop utility tools in C++/C or scripting languages.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to dynamic project requirements.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident as required by ITAR.
