CNC Mill / Lathe Programmer wanted to fill an opening in a small job shop environment in the Valencia area.
The ideal candidate will be able to program HAAS Mills & Lathes, working from drawings and sketches.
This person must be able to interface well with shop personnel and interact directly with engineering to accomplish the goals of the assigned projects.
Qualifications:
· Proficiency using Solidworks, Fusion 360 and Bobcam v29,v30.
· Ability to reverse engineer parts using a CMM and various measuring equipment.
· Capable of taking the reverse engineering data to create a CAD model and drawing using ASME Y14.5 STANDARDS.
· Capable of programming 3,4,5 axis parts in a HAAS Vertical Mill.
· Capable of programing HAAS lathes.
· Exercises the ability to multitask and interact with machinists to solve problems efficiently.
· Ability to setup fixturing and parts accurately and in a timely manner.
· Solid understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards.
· Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.
Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- Knowledge of measuring instruments required for CNC machine shop use.
- Possess knowledge of working properties of Aerospace metals and skill with machine tools to plan, Set-Up & carry out the operations needed to make machined products that meet their precise specifications.
- Proficiency using Solidworks, Fusion 360 and Bobcam v29,v30.
- Use the proper measuring tools to check the accuracy of their work against blueprints.
- Have the ability to set-up & operate CNC Mills, other Manual machine shop equipment.
- Able to read blueprints.
- Adhere to safe operating procedures.
- Self-motivated, hardworking, analytical, and trustworthy.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
