CNC Machinist

AS9100/ISO9001 certified precision manufacturing company in Livermore providing support to Aerospace, Medical, Optical and Semiconductor industries.

Seeking the following qualifications:

4-axis experience is a MUST

5-axis experience is a plus

Good organizational and planning skills and self-motivated

Setup AND run horizontal and vertical CNC machining centers (Mori Seiki, Haas and Matsuura)

Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls

Strong math skills

Fixture design and manufacture experience

Able to inspect your own parts (1st article inspection and in process) and maintain quality

throughout using SPC charts

Must have own measuring tools

Able to read, interpret, & work from engineering prints, drawings & sketches w/GD&T feature

controls.

Continuous improvement and cycle time reduction skills

AS 9100/ ISO 9001 experience a plus.

Minimum experience:

5 years as a CNC setup person

SurfCAM programming experience is a huge PLUS

This is a full time day shift position, M-F 6AM-2:30PM (plus overtime – as needed)
