CNC Mill Machinist (Setup & Operation)
Location: Escondido, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Options: Day Shift or Night Shift
Compensation: $24.00 – $34.00 per hour, DOE
Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday – Friday)
Night Shift: 2:15 PM – 12:45 AM (Monday – Thursday, Friday Off)

Position Summary:
We are seeking experienced CNC Mill Machinists to perform setups and operation on a variety of CNC equipment. Candidates should be team-oriented individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to producing top-quality parts. Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC mills to produce precision parts to blueprint specifications.
- Interpret and apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards.
- Inspect machined parts using hand tools and measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Adjust machine settings and tooling as necessary to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to optimize production processes.
- Communicate effectively with management and colleagues regarding production challenges or suggestions.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill Setup Machinist.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Proficient in the use of precision inspection equipment (calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.).
- Familiarity with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Haas, Fadal, and Okuma preferred.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
