Jig Grinder.

Jig Grinder must be able to operate Moor Jig Grinders, working from drawings and sketches using manual machine shop equipment.

Job Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Experience working with Moore G-18 Jig Grinders or similar Jig Grinders.
• Mechanically inclined individual with good problem-solving ability.
• Able to produce accurate work (tolerances reach .0005” of an inch).
• Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.
• Good understanding of feeds and speeds pertaining to various materials.
• Proficient in fixture and part setup.
• Skilled using various gaging equipment (OD/ID micrometers, depth gages, height gages, bore gages etc.)
• A solid background in reading drawings conforming to ASME Y14.5 standards.
