  • Produce and revise manufacturing prints including GD&T callouts, tolerance stacks, and fabrication notes aligned with ASME Y14.5 standards.
  • Create bill of materials (BOMs) and maintain change control documentation within PLM/PDM environments.
  • Support prototype development, including supplier drawing packages, fabrication liaison, and workshop hands-on integration when required.
  • Translate system-level engineering requirements into dimensioned, manufacturable designs, including:
    • Sheet metal enclosures
    • Machined metal and injection-molded plastic components
    • Weldments and structural frames
    • Thermal management and cooling mechanisms
    • Battery module mechanical housing and protective structures
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, electrical, firmware, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless product integration.
  • Prepare engineering change orders (ECOs), revision histories, configuration updates, and drawing markups.
  • Assist with FEA interpretation, tolerance stack analysis, DFM/DFT optimization, and prototype test review documentation.
  • Support design reviews, constructability reviews, and root cause analysis for mechanical issues.
  • Ensure designs comply with industry best practices, regulatory considerations, and appropriate material and safety standards.
