We are a Dallas / Fort Worth area software and IT staffing agency specialized in recruiting Full Stack Developers for companies that fall into the healthcare and biotechnology industries. Our client is a pioneering healthtech company at the intersection of cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and precision medicine. They specialize in data-driven medicine that leverages machine learning, genomic analysis, and predictive modeling to transform how healthcare organizations deliver personalized patient care.

The company develops AI-powered software platforms that secure, analyze, and interpret massive biomedical and genomic datasets—helping researchers, clinicians, and healthcare networks detect disease earlier, optimize treatments, and accelerate medical research. Their work sits at the cutting edge of digital health innovation, combining the rigor of HIPAA-compliant data security with the agility of modern cloud-native software engineering.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Developer, you will play a vital role in building, securing, and scaling end-to-end web and cloud applications that power advanced medical analytics, AI workflows, and patient data management systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, develop, and deploy front-end and back-end applications supporting healthcare data visualization, clinical research portals, and AI inference platforms.
  • Build scalable RESTful APIs and GraphQL endpoints to integrate genomic data, AI models, and patient record systems.
  • Develop intuitive, HIPAA-compliant user interfaces using React.js, Angular, or Vue.js, ensuring secure data interaction and accessibility across multiple devices.
  • Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, and role-based access control (RBAC) frameworks.
  • Architect and manage microservices-based cloud applications using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a focus on Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, bioinformaticians, and cybersecurity engineers to integrate AI/ML pipelines, genomic workflows, and large-scale medical data storage solutions.
  • Ensure application performance, scalability, and compliance with healthcare security frameworks such as HIPAA, HITECH, ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 2, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11.
  • Utilize CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps) for continuous integration, automated testing, and secure deployment.
  • Perform code reviews, unit testing, and vulnerability scanning in adherence with OWASP Top 10 and NIST Cybersecurity Framework best practices.
  • Implement real-time analytics and data streaming using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS Kinesis for medical and genomic data ingestion.
  • Contribute to system documentation, architecture diagrams, and design reviews in compliance with regulated software development standards.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field required.
  • Master’s degree in Data Science, Health Informatics, or Artificial Intelligence preferred.
