Company Overview: Located in North Hollywood, California, our company is a leading designer, developer, and manufacturer of RFI/EMC calibration and test equipment. We pride ourselves on innovation and quality in the field of electronic testing.
Job Summary: The role involves testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating sophisticated electronic equipment. This includes working with both discrete components and integrated circuits, and ensuring stringent quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate advanced test equipment such as network analyzers and oscilloscopes, and analyze test data.
- Develop and set up test apparatus or design custom test equipment and circuitry to evaluate product performance and reliability.
- Conduct thorough testing, modification, repair, and calibration of electronic components, utilizing deep knowledge in electronics, electrical circuitry, and engineering principles.
- Document test processes and results, supporting engineering teams with detailed reports and data recording.
- Maintain quality control through meticulous documentation and adherence to procedures.
- Use Microsoft Office for reporting and preparing detailed estimates for customer repairs.
- Install electronic components and assemblies, following precise CAD and schematic diagrams.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in electronic assembly and soldering.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Visual and CAD software for code interpretation and schematic reading is a plus.
- Experience with RF concepts and A2LA accreditation is desirable.
Education and Experience:
- A two-year degree or vocational training in electronics is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
Physical Requirements:
- The role requires frequent sitting, handling, and fine manipulation with the hands, and occasional lifting of up to 45 pounds.
- Must have good visual acuity for detailed work.
