Employee Benefits
CalTek Staffing provides the following benefits for its temporary employees:
- Employees that have been on CalTek’s payroll for one hundred eighty (180) days will be eligible for our matching 401k plan.
- CalTek employees are fully insured with workers compensation, unemployment insurance, etc.
- CalTek employees will get paid time and a half (1 ½) their normal hourly salary for all overtime hours based on applicable state labor laws.
Depending on what state and county you live in, some workers may be covered by several paid-sick-leave laws. Employees that work in these counties will be eligible for paid sick leave in accordance with state and county paid sick-leave laws. In general, these temporary workers must accrue at least one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours they work. These paid sick hours are generally limited to 24 hours (or three days) per year and cannot be used until after the 90th day of employment.
