Civil Design Engineer 3

Minimum Skills

• 5+ years of industry experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering – Civil and/or Environmental

• Experience with Site Grading, Earthwork Calculations, Road Design, Drainage (Calculations & Reports), Utility Layout & Sizing, Technical Report Writing

• Ability to research and interpret technical documents

• Experience in preparing and advancing plan set packages through all project phases including providing redlines for drafter

• Exercise sound judgment on design decisions and in application of standard methods

• Work with multiple site base-files oriented in different coordinate frames and varying units

• Proficient in AutoCAD

• Knowledge of civil design programs (Civil 3D, LDT, Storm and Sewer Analysis, Hydro CAD, Flowmasters, Storm CAD, etc.) 

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Graphics programs (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc.)

• Certifications or other sustainability-oriented accreditation preferred (LEED, EIT, PE, etc.)

• Knowledge of GIS principles
